Position at Glidewell Dental
Essential functions:
- Develop end-to-end software solutions, including front-end and back-end components, databases, and APIs.
- Design intuitive and responsive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and React.js framework.
- Build server-side applications and APIs using programming languages such as Node.js.
- Integrate software systems, third-party services, and APIs to ensure seamless data flow and functionality.
- Optimize database performance, design efficient schemas, and implement data access layers.
- Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies, including unit tests, integration tests, and automated tests.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs and system architectures.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing technical insights and project status updates.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in full-stack development.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in both front-end and back-end components.
- Ensure the scalability, maintainability, and security of software solutions.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and adherence to coding standards.
- Collaborate with product owners and ui/ux designers to deliver high-quality software products.
- Continuously improve skills and knowledge through self-learning and professional development.
- Handle deployment and DevOps tasks, ensuring the smooth deployment and operation of software systems.
- Follow best practices for version control, documentation, and software development methodologies.
- Analyze user feedback and system performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Provide technical support and assistance to other team members or end-users when needed.
- Adhere to project timelines and deliver software solutions within the allocated timeframes.
- Embrace a collaborative and agile work environment, actively contributing to team discussions and decision-making processes.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Full-Stack Software Engineer, with a strong track record of successfully delivering complex, scalable, and high-quality software solutions.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.js
- Solid understanding of back-end development using Node.js, and experience with frameworks like Express.js.
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases, and proficiency in writing efficient SQL queries.
- Strong understanding of software development principles, including object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software architecture.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
