Assistant Director of Admissions Responsibilities:

Job responsibilities include assisting patients & families with the admissions process, touring the facility, reviewing & signing admissions agreements, and verifying patient's insurance. Must also be able to handle phones, faxing & computer programs.

Insurance experience preferred but will train.

Assistant Director of Admissions Duties Include:

• Sending for Initial Insurance Authorizations
• Opening referrals and responding to case managers in Admission Programs
• Verifying Primary Insurance Benefits
• Inform necessary departments of the arrival of new residents and coordinate the admission process as outlined in the facility policy
• Input Facesheet data

Assistant Director of Admissions Requirements/Qualifications:

• Good organizational, planning
• Knowledge of hospital discharge planning
• SNF experience of at least 1 year
• Nursing Experience is welcome
