Glencoe Regional Health is Hiring a Registered Nurse (RN); OB & Med/Surg - .6-.9 FTE Near Glencoe, MN

Position: RN
Department: OB, Med/Surg and Transitional Care Unit
Location: Hospital
Position Type: Full or Part Time
Hours/Pay Period: 48, 60 or 72 hours (candidate preference) 
Shift: Day/Night Rotation
Weekend: Every 3rd
Schedule: 12-hour shifts

The Registered Nurse is a clinical practitioner who coordinates and implements patient care specific to the age and type of patient population served on assigned units. He/she ensures that quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner, consistent with the unit’s standard of care. He/she demonstrates performance consistent with the mission, philosophy and goals of the unit and organization; remains flexible to changing systems; is expected to demonstrate quality and effectiveness in work habits and clinical practice; and treats patients, families and all members of the healthcare team with respect and consideration.
Qualifications:
  • Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and possess a current license as a Registered Nurse from the State of Minnesota.
  • Must be able to work independently in OB, Med/Surg and TCU. 1 year(s) of previous MedSurg experience required if not currently OB trained. 
  • Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE and AWOHN fetal monitoring certifications required.
  • Possess knowledge of growth and development; specifically an understanding of the cognitive, physical, emotional and chronological maturation process. Has an understanding of the range of tx needed by patients of all ages in relation to growth and development processes to include neonate, child, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service to those we serve.
  • Possess a positive attitude and is able to communicate with tact and professionalism.
  • Previous EMR experience preferred; Excellian knowledge a plus! 
Schedule: These fully benefits eligible positions are scheduled 12-hours shifts, Day/Night rotation. Candidate preference of 48, 60 or 72 hours per 2-week pay period.
