The Role You will Play
Prepare monthly bank reconciliations, support month-end and year-end close process
Record journal entries, including accruals, depreciation, amortization, payroll, 401K, etc.
Prepare GL account reconciliations
Update and maintain prepaid and fixed asset schedules
Assist with weekly check run
Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
Generate monthly WIP and deferred revenue report
Recommend and implement improvements to internal procedures
Reconcile intercompany transactions and correct any discrepancies
Assist with project management
Review projects to ensure accurate invoicing, prepare and review project final reconciliations
Handle annual 1099 issuance
Assist with other ad-hoc projects
Background Profile
At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
Familiar with and able to apply GAAP and FASB framework
Self-starter
Strong mathematical and analytical skills
Ability to work independently
Advance Excel skills, pivot tables, VLOOKUP
