Glanbia is Hiring a Development specialist Near Pocatello, ID

The Opportunity

  • Support manager on maintaining and growing current business with existing accounts, and developing Indonesia Market.
  • Responsible for prospection, and customer growth expectations for Indonesia customers.
  • Travel to customers for face-to-face meetings to promote new products, enhance customer relationship, resolve any product questions and ensure GN is selling all the material and services we can offer.
  • Support manager on tracking monthly sales.
  • Develop new accounts via leads from magazines, internet, cold call customers, trade shows, industry events and word of mouth.
  • Follow through with all leads via phone, e-mails, sending requested samples and meeting at their offices as the relationship develops.
  • Stay current in industry news and trends by involvement in industry events, tradeshows as approved, social outings, seminars, memberships in industry organizations and magazine subscriptions.
  • Support manager on coordinating customer care from original order with customer service to shipping orders on time and smoothing any problem issues that arise.

Additional tasks

  • Communicate to appropriate Glanbia personnel information gained regarding competition, leads, product development and new opportunities.
  • Provide input for manager’s coordination with commercial, marketing, R&D and manufacturing both AsPac and global.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

The Skills you will bring to the team

  • Bachelors degree required, preferably in Food / Nutrition Science, or Sales & Marketing with Technical background, or equivalent.
  • One to three years related experience calling on major food & beverage companies with food, and nutritional ingredients background.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) as well as ability to develop strong relationships at multi-levels of accounts.
  • Must be willing and able to travel a minimum of 30% and for multiple days as needed.
  • Proficiency with MS Outlook, Word and PowerPoint
  • Fluent in written and spoken English required
