Job Overview (Monday - Friday 9am to 4:30pm)

We are a physician owned practice specializing in cosmetic surgical procedures, non-surgical anti-aging treatments, and skincare services. Our practice is seeking a Medical Assistant with exceptional communication skills, keen attention to detail, a positive demeanor, and outstanding organizational abilities. The ideal candidate will bring experience in patient rooming, procedure assistance, and patient care. Proficiency in administrative tasks relevant to clinical support roles is essential. Knowledge of facial plastic surgery and electronic medical records (EMR) are strongly preferred. This role offers a dynamic professional environment with substantial hands-on involvement in patient care including surgical assistance, patient education, and content creation for social media platforms. Responsibilities

· preparing exam rooms, escorting patients to room, and preparing them for provider

· performing medical photography including taking photos, loading photos, editing photos for proper format posting

· assisting the physician with patient care, including obtaining history, chief complaint, and consents

· assisting with cosmetic procedures including Botox, fillers, facial surgery in the office

· performing phlebotomy (ie, blood draws) for office procedures

· performing postoperative care including suture removal, wound cleaning, dressing removal

· assisting in patient education regarding aftercare protocols and what to expect after treatment

· reviewing the schedule to ensure appointments are scheduled appropriately and supplies needed for the procedure are available

· EMR charting

· stocking of rooms and room turnover

· taking inventory and assisting with orders

· assisting with social media creation, editing, and posting for the practice

· assisting the physician with post-surgical after hours calls from patients

· assisting the physician on specified weekends with post-surgical patient care

· working special events as assigned including on- and off-site marketing events

· attending and maintaining training relevant to role on a yearly basis

· performing other medical and office tasks as needed

Requirements

· High school diploma plus either completion of a college degree or a Medical Assistant program required

· Medical assistant certification is preferred

· Phlebotomy certification is preferred

· One (1) year of prior experience in a cosmetic/surgical clinic setting working as a medical assistant or clinical assistant is preferred

· Sufficient knowledge of social media platforms is required

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 35 per week
