Girodisc is a privately-owned 20-year old company that designs, manufactures, markets and distributes two-piece brake rotors for a wide range of performance and racing vehicles worldwide.
We got our start manufacturing brake components for Ferraris and have expanded to most all high- performance vehicles, from Evos and Porsches to Mustangs and McLarens.
We are a 100% US sourced/based manufacturer focused on quality products, customer service and our employees.

Demonstrates exceptional follow through with attention to detail and will complete the job correctly the first time
Able to work autonomously with adequate direction

Demonstrates continuous process improvement and current manufacturing practices. 5S and/or lean a plus

Experience/skills
Ability to operate a forklift: prior forklift experience preferred
Clean machines as needed
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and be on your feet all day

Job Description
We are looking for a hard-working Shop Assistant to work with our team in support of the operation of our CNC machines and related equipment. Duties would include cutting aluminum bars on a CNC band saw, moving material between warehouses, emptying chip bins with the forklift and general maintenance/cleanliness of the machine shop. This would be a great opportunity for someone interested in learning more about CNC machining and advancing into that role in the future.
