We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented person to join our team. The Person will be responsible for medical collection and medical billing. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical office procedures, medical terminology, and coding systems such as ICD-10. HMO Billing, collecting appeals and denials. Knowledge on insurance portals, eligibility.
Duties:
- Perform medical collection activities, including contacting patients and insurance companies to resolve outstanding balances
- Review and process medical billing claims, ensuring accuracy and compliance with coding guidelines
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to resolve billing discrepancies
- Stay updated on changes in coding regulations and guidelines
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience in medical collection, medical billing, or medical coding
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Familiarity with medical office operations and processes
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information

Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour
