Girl Scout Camp Whip Poor Will
This is a seasonal (8-months) position, part-time (15-18 hours per week) with non-traditional work hours.
Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Camp Whip Poor Will’s 500 acres, near Morrow, Ohio is jam-packed with various facilities, program areas, and endless woods, creeks, and trails, allowing girls to choose their adventures. The Maintenance Assistant will provide property maintenance assistance that includes grounds maintenance, maintenance of equipment, light maintenance and cleaning of buildings, and customer service to all property users.Requirements for the position are:
- High school diploma or GED with a minimum of three years' work experience in facility maintenance
- Knowledge of basic principles of construction, plumbing, electricity, facility maintenance, painting, equipment operation, inventory control procedures, and grounds maintenance.
- Experience with the operation and maintenance of grounds keeping equipment: mowing, chainsaw, etc.
- Must possess a valid state driver's license and functioning vehicle.
- Successful completion of fingerprinting and criminal background check as required by Ohio law.
