Girl Scouts in the Heart of PA is Hiring a Regional Manager Near Camp Hill, PA

Description

The Regional Manager is responsible for supervising and facilitating the work and initiatives of the membership team assigned to the region. Work and initiatives primarily include membership recruitment and retention, Girl Scout Product Program delivery, volunteer support, and management related functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the implementation of council-wide Girl Scout initiatives, support, and resources to meet the needs of girl members. This includes, but is not limited to, volunteer onboarding, training, Product Program support, and other resources as dictated by the current and future strategic plan.
  • Work in collaboration with the Volunteer Support Coordinators to implement a comprehensive plan for girl and volunteer membership growth in assigned territory to support overall council membership goals and ensure effective volunteer leadership at the Service Unit level.
  • Coordinate with other Membership team members and fellow regional leads to develop and execute plans for maximizing efficiency and effectiveness in member lead conversion.
  • Work in collaboration with the Director of Membership to make informed decisions, as it relates to regional initiatives, volunteer support, and staff development.
  • Supervise staff throughout the region to ensure consistency in delivery of product programs and volunteer support and development, as well as ensuring that staff provides professional, quality customer service to all GSHPA members, volunteers, and other staff.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • A minimum of 2 years management and supervisory experience, preferably in a non-profit or member-based organization.
  • Highly proficient in MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and virtual meeting platforms. Salesforce experience preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail, including proofreading.
  • Analytical skills and ability to understand data.
  • Effectively understand and enforce established council policies, procedures, and performance management system.
  • Proven teambuilding and conflict management skills and demonstrated ability to function as a positive and active team member.
  • Demonstrated abilities in planning, project management, supervision, evaluation, and analysis.
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver's license; access to reliable transportation required.
  • Work a flexible schedule, to include nights and weekends, as needed.
  • Pass and maintain required background clearances.
