Overview:
GFA Staffing is currently seeking a Packager to join our team in the food industry. As a Packager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient packaging of our food products. Duties:
- Fabricate and assemble packaging materials according to specifications
- Operate packaging machinery and equipment, such as forklifts, to package food products
- Follow FDA regulations and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines to maintain product quality and safety
- Monitor packaging processes to ensure proper functioning and identify any issues or malfunctions
- Perform routine maintenance on packaging equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the packaging area
- Adhere to food safety protocols during all stages of packaging
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the food processing or packaging industry is preferred
- Familiarity with FDA regulations and CGMP guidelines is a plus
- Mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate packaging and labeling
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
- Flexibility to work different shifts as needed
