Gill Quarries, Inc. provides an array of stone, mulch, reclamation clean fill and concrete recycling.

This specific position will start out by fulfilling all of our operations along with managing our shop. Our top priority when hiring is to keep our employees long term and do provide several growth path opportunities.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide tasks for employees to meet company expectations.
• Manage a team of mechanics and operators
• Assign work and ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks
• Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets industry standards
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues
• Ensure employees are working safety
• Knowledge of equipment
• Ordering equipment parts
• Strong desire to lead people and coach others to better perform
• Organization skills
• Able to perform tasks as a group and by yourself
• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems - Proficiency in equipment repair and maintenance, including hydraulics

Job Requirements:

• MUST live in Montgomery PA or surrounding area ~OR~ be comfortable with a commute to Norristown, PA DAILY.
• MUST be able to work M-F from 7:00am to 4:00pm. **Saturday hours are available **
• MUST have previous quarry experience.
• MUST be able to run heavy equipment at an expert level.
• MUST be capable of making decisive decisions.
• Ability to manage time and multi-task effectively to fulfill tasks in a timely manner.
• MUST have a valid driver's license & own method of transportation.
• The ability to pick up 50 lbs throughout the day is required for all positions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
