Overview

The Project Executive is the on-site representative of the Company responsible for the overall direction, completion, and financial outcome of a single complex construction-management project; as well as mentoring multiple Project Managers and Engineers.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise work of project administration, project superintendents, and engineers to establish operational priorities and maintain satisfactory relationships with owners, subcontractors, unions, etc.
• Enforce project reporting requirements
• Manage critical issues
• Assume overall accountability for jobsite safety and quality
• A project Executive shall generally be assigned to manage one of the following scenarios:
  • Single Large Project Focus – Full time assignment to a single project (i.e., over $50 Million) with the support of Senior Project Managers/Project Managers.
  • Multiple Client Focus – The Project Executive will handle multiple projects with multiple client account responsibility, overseeing Senior Project Managers and Project Managers as assigned. Tracking of future work opportunities (RFP’s) for all assigned clients and direct participation in submitting proposals for generating new work is expected.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION

• BS OR MS degree in Engineering or Construction Management
• 10-15 years in the lead role on projects valued at $50 million or larger
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Strong technical and communication skills are critical
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Leadership and management skills
• Knowledge of Procore, Microsoft Office (preferred)
