Giddy is Hiring a Creative Director Near Austin, TX

Giddy is a dynamic and rapidly growing e-commerce company dedicated to providing innovative solutions in the sexual health and wellness space. Our flagship product is an ED device called Eddie, which is an FDA Registered Class II medical device. We have three website properties and are currently building the world's first AI search engine for sexual health and wellness information.
Giddy is looking for a Creative Director that will play a critical role in the strategy, ideation, and design of Giddy's creative work.
Job Description:
  • You will head brand campaigns keeping Giddy's brand at the heart of every deliverable
  • Overseeing the visual components of brand campaigns from idea to execution
  • Oversee creative budgets for shoots
  • You will have a constant awareness of trends in Visual Design, Men's fashion, Women's fashion, Product photography, Lifestyle photography, and Social media
  • You have comprehensive understanding of visual branding
  • Acting as the shepherd and authority on Giddy's visual branding and identity
  • Studying our brand book and discern when something is and isn't "on brand"
  • Taking a list of deliverable requirements/spec from multiple stakeholders, and develop a detailed shot list to meet the teams' needs
  • You will plan and execute photo and video shoots with includes booking talent, booking location, sourcing and obtaining props
  • Maximizing a small budget
  • Keeping an efficient mindset, from developing campaign concepts through selecting retouched photos.
  • Over-communication is your general philosophy
EXPERIENCE:
  • 5-10 years agency or In-house branding experience
  • 5-10 years managing experience with visual designers, UX designers, and photographers
  • Art direction/shot-styling experience
  • Previous experience working with talent on video and photoshoots
  • Previous experience working with a brand to adhere to visual brand standards
  • Background in photography, styling, fashion, videography, visual design, art direction, interior design, or similar
  • You are excellent at cross-team communication
  • From a conversation or meeting, you can pull out specific action-items
SKILLS:
  • Expert familiarity with Adobe CC
  • Experience with Figma
  • Experience with project management tools (such as Asana)
  • Familiarity with cameras, lighting, and editing tools
