The Opportunity

Reporting to the Department Manager, the Treasury Analyst will primarily be responsible for preparing daily cash position statements, monitoring and accounting for daily treasury transactions, and managing accounts payable invoices within the accounting system.

What you'll do

• Prepare daily cash position statements,
• Daily reconciliation of cash disbursements and receipts, with analysis to resolve discrepancies
• Daily monitoring of treasury activities and daily reporting
• Corporate banking operations – cash disbursements, wire transfers, deposits, open new accounts

• Conduct administration duties for company purchasing card and expense reports

• Manage Corporate accounts payable activities within the general ledger system to ensure timeliness of invoice entry, and accuracy and completeness of accounts payable for month-end reporting
• Participate in project to accelerate and automate account payable processes
• Update procedures due to changes in process or accounting requirements with input from management
• Maintain accounting internal control procedures including documentation and testing

What we need

• Associates Degree in Business Administration with at least three years of related experience required; or Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in accounting, business, and/or finance
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel required, including multi-worksheet navigation and formulas
• Strong critical thinking and organization skills
• Experience in the use of additional Microsoft Office and PDF applications required.
• Ability to work to deadlines with little direct supervision
• Motivated and innovative with a process improvement outlook
• Effective communication skills at all levels with internal and external stakeholders
• Attention to detail and analytical skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
