Who we are:

At Giammichele Law APC, we are a boutique law firm that specializes in trust, estate, and family law matters. We are currently looking to add an additional paralegal to our team. This is a permanent full-time position with potential for hybrid work.

This role is perfect for someone who has strong people skills, a keen attention to detail, and is passionate about growing in the legal field with a team that is knowledgeable, high achieving, and fun.

Key Responsibilities:

· Assist attorneys in preparing for hearings, mediation, and trials;

· Prepare, organize, and summarize discovery as well as certain motion documents, declarations; and routine correspondence;

· Establish effective working relationships with clients to obtain necessary information and documentation as well as keep them informed at all times of case status;

· Filing and arranging for service of process;

· Perform additional legal and administrative tasks on an as needed basis.

Our ideal candidate will have:

· ABA-Accredited Paralegal Certification;

· Bachelor’s degree preferred;

· Strong communication skills with experience in a client/customer facing role;

· ·Strong litigation skills and attention to detail;

· 1-2 years of probate litigation experience is preferred;

· Knowledge of county/state court rules, calendaring, and legal document formatting guidelines;

· Strong research, writing, analytical and organizational skills;

· Excellent planning, prioritization, and time management skills;

Compensation is based upon experience and qualifications.

Starting Compensation Range: $25.00-33.00 per hour
