Seeking an Interim Front Office Coordinator in Columbus OH
Pay Rate : $18 to $20 per hour (based on experience)
Duration : 12-week contract, with potential for extension
Job Summary :
As a Front Office Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by managing patient flow, providing exceptional customer service, and facilitating efficient communication and scheduling.
This position requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering top-notch healthcare services.
Duties :
Greet and engage patients and visitors with professionalism and courtesy.
Collect and manage patient data, including demographics, medical history, insurance, and financial information.
Efficiently check patients in and out for appointments.
Manage patient financial transactions, including co-pays, coinsurance, and deductibles.
Verify insurance benefits and obtain necessary authorizations.
Generate daily reports and maintain accurate records.
Coordinate appointments for our multi-disciplinary team.
Assist with distribution of correspondence and manage incoming phone calls.
Utilize Practice Management System / EMR and Microsoft Word proficiently.
Coordinate with internal departments and external agencies to assist patients.
Ensure equitable patient scheduling and monitor waiting areas for cleanliness and order.
Manage incoming mail, faxes, and deliveries, including time-sensitive items.
Maintain accuracy of patient information in the practice management system.
Assist patients with referral management requirements.
Manage office supply inventory.
Education & Experience :
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
Experience in a Patient Center Medical Home preferred.
Experience with eCW preferred.
Personal and professional dedication to improving healthcare delivery.

Strong multitasking abilities, organizational skills, and communication skills.
