Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical team. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care, collaborate with healthcare professionals, and ensure the well-being of our patients. This is a full-time position with various shifts available.

Duties:
- Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' health status
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and document patients' vital signs and medical history
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Provide patient education on disease prevention, treatment options, and self-care techniques
- Assist in the coordination of patient discharge planning and follow-up care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records

Requirements:
- Valid RN license in TN
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a medical/surgical setting
- Proficient in CT scans, cardiac catheterization, and other relevant medical procedures
- Familiarity with Epic or similar electronic health record systems
- Knowledge of occupational health standards and protocols
- Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred
- Knowledge of ophthalmology procedures is a plus
- Proficient in catheter care and airway management techniques
- Ability to provide behavioral health support to patients

Pay: $1,735.00 - $1,805.00 per week
