GHR Healthcare, LLC PM Acute Team 1 is Hiring a RN Emergency Department Near Trenton, NJ

Duties:

- Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients in the emergency room
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
- Perform triage assessments and prioritize patient needs based on acuity level
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and symptoms
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care
- Assist in emergency procedures such as intubation, chest compressions, and wound care
- Educate patients and their families on healthcare management and prevention strategies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records

Skills:

- Proficient in providing care to patients of all ages, including toddlers
- Knowledge of hospice palliative medicine principles and practices
- Experience with inhalation therapy techniques
- Ability to provide health coaching to patients for lifestyle modifications
- Competent in aseptic technique for infection control
- Familiarity with Athenahealth electronic health record system
- Skilled in medication administration and dosage calculations
- Proficient in maintaining accurate medical records and documentation
- Ability to catheterize patients when necessary
- Experience in case management for coordinating patient care across multiple healthcare settings
