Job Summary: Performs technical preparation of cytology slides from ThinPrep samples for microscopic examination; presents quality control screening of slides. Essential Functions: Identify cytology specimens.Create sample worksheets utilizing dMDL.Label cytology imaging slides with patient identifiers.Preparing slides utilizing ThinPrep 2000Operate VeristainOperate Tissue-Tek Film cover slipper for cytology imaging slidesLoad and operate ThinPrep Imaging SystemProcess sample worksheetsManual preparation of cytology slide using GAA protocol Additional Responsibilities:Coordination of waste disposalCoordination with Cytology managerRecord keepingAssures activities are conducted in a safe manner and materials are handled according to safety guidelines.
