Your role will be pivotal in providing meticulous oversight, insightful analysis, and forward-thinking projections to drive sustainable growth and success for our clients. Your Responsibilities
Collaborate with our CFO Services team and clients to develop comprehensive short-, mid-, and long-term financial forecasts.
Assist in month-end closing processes and ensure accurate balance sheet reconciliations.
Identify opportunities to optimize existing accounting software or facilitate transitions to new systems.
Lead the preparation and analysis of financial statements, offering valuable insights into business performance.
Develop and maintain financial models, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
Aid in managing business risks and insurance requirements, contributing to improved planning methods and overseeing investment funds for expansion initiatives.
Provide direction and mentorship to the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
Review and enhance the planning process, oversee investment funds, and collaborate with investment bankers for capital expansion needs.
Reconcile bank statements, support client hiring efforts, and assist in developing manuals for Accounting & Financial departments.
Act as a vital link between finance, operations, and management, delivering financial insights and recommendations to drive informed decisions.
Communicate financial performance and key performance indicators (KPIs) to client stakeholders and external partners as necessary.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Controller or relevant accounting management role.
Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis.
Strong grasp of accounting principles.
Experience with commonly used agricultural ERP systems and software.
Demonstrated leadership skills.
Preference for candidates with experience in the agriculture industry.
High attention to detail, exceptional organizational abilities, and analytical acumen.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects effectively while meeting deadlines consistently.
