Department: Gravitas, A Global Extension of our School Employment Type: Part-Time (minimum of two 1.0 credit-equivalent courses) Location: Remote Compensation: $6,000 per course (minimum of 2 courses); additional courses available based on enrollment Start Date: August 12, 2024 QualificationsBachelor's or master's degree in digital art or related field, with a preference for experience in graphic design, animation, and photography. Minimum of three years of teaching experience, including online instruction. Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines. Effective communication skills, particularly with teenagers in an online setting. Alignment with our faith-based learning environment and commitment to Christian scholarship and character formation. Proficiency with technology, including learning management systems, Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, and creating multimedia content. Reliable high-speed internet access. Team player mentality with openness to feedback. Professional demeanor in interactions with students, parents, and the school community. Cultural awareness and sensitivity. Dedication to ongoing professional development. Primary ResponsibilitiesDevelop and deliver engaging digital arts courses. Provide both synchronous and asynchronous instruction. Evaluate and provide constructive feedback on student work. Coordinate virtual gallery showcases. Support students in art competitions and college portfolio preparation. Compensation: $6,000 per course, with a minimum requirement of teaching 2 courses per semester. Additional courses may be available depending on enrollment.
