Job Title: Business Intelligence Project Manager

Location: Madison, WI (100% Remote within State of WI)

Description:

Our client is seeking a results-oriented and adaptable individual with a 'can-do' attitude to lead business intelligence projects. This Project Manager will oversee multiple projects, ranging from small to multi-million-dollar development efforts. The ideal candidate will lead the business intelligence development team and work closely with business partners to ensure project success.

Responsibilities:

• Manage technical and overall project management for enterprise-wide business intelligence applications and architecture.
• Develop project charters, plans, deliverables, and other project artifacts.
• Work closely with the project sponsor and IT senior management to understand and prioritize project tasks.
• Solve complex technical problems, understand business objectives, identify alternative solutions, and perform feasibility studies and cost/benefit analysis.
• Build an effective team and direct the project team to meet milestones.
• Develop standards, policies, and procedures for business intelligence documentation, tools, and systems.
• Create data/information quality metrics.
• Research new technology and develop business cases to support enterprise-wide business intelligence solutions.
• Participate in special projects as required.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 12 years of project management experience with large and complex database management systems and business intelligence tools.
• PMP certification required.
• 5 years of experience in change management and implementing large, complex models and processes.
• Proficiency with MS Office products: Excel, Outlook, MS Project.
• At least 5 years of experience in user testing, system testing, and user acceptance test plans.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data warehouse design, development, and requirements gathering.
• Knowledge of Kimball data warehouse design principles.
• In-depth knowledge of system development life cycle deliverables for each phase of development.
• Demonstrated experience in the design and utilization of performance measures and reports.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
