Job Title: Atlassian Cloud Implementation Consultant

Description:

We are seeking an experienced consultant for our client who has recent Atlassian Cloud software implementation experience. The ideal candidate will provide guidance and lead the team in utilizing vendor best practices during the migration to Atlassian Cloud products. This position requires a deep understanding of Atlassian products, including Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket.

Responsibilities:

• Offer expert advice and guidance on best practices for using Atlassian tools.
• Work closely with the team to understand and evaluate existing infrastructure and business processes.
• Identify areas of improvement and recommend solutions to optimize configurations for business processes and scalability.
• Act as a visionary to proactively assist in defining the direction for future projects.
• Create a detailed implementation plan.
• Lead the migration process from the current setup to Atlassian Cloud.
• Ensure data integrity and minimal disruption during the transition.
• Configure and customize Atlassian products as needed.
• Set up Identity Management (single sign-on via Shibboleth), support for five main LDPs, license management, and provide system administration oversight.
• Collaborate with other team members to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Conduct Atlassian product demonstrations as needed.
• Provide ongoing support and training to UW JIRA project administrators and users.

Requirements:

• Proven experience (at least 2 years) with complex Atlassian Cloud implementations.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Ability to solve complex problems and work with cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and customer service skills.
• Experience with complex Atlassian Cloud implementations.
• Experience creating implementation plans.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Experience in Identity Management setup (single sign-on via Shibboleth), support for five main LDPs, license management, and system administration overview.
