JOB PURPOSE/NARRATIVE: Primary function of this position is the cost and time-optimized maintenance and repair of machines, devices and operating facilities taking into account the respective management objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Careful and purposeful handling of the provided tools / machines as well as their care and maintenance
• Proper performance of maintenance work in his area of expertise. During execution, all necessary safety-related issues must be taken into account
• Compliance with currently applicable health and safety regulations and environmental regulations  Responsible cooperation in the practical training of apprentices employed in the field
• Active participation in the continuous revision of the maintenance plans
• Active participation in the planning and implementation of planned maintenance and repair work  Plant and device construction within the scope of the available resources, here the necessary hydraulic / pneumatic plan creation (if not assigned)
• Documentation of maintenance and repair work according to specifications
• Implementation of necessary repairs and troubleshooting, including assistance for colleagues
• Maintenance and optimization of handling devices  Ensure order and cleanliness in the workplace
• Maintain a clean & safe environment as well as perform work safely following safety guidelines
• Ensure order and cleanliness in the responsible storage and operating areas
• Permanent collaboration and improvement of the management systems used and their compliance
• Carrying out inventories
• Different activities according to instructions
• Repairing machines or systems using the needed tools.
• Performing routine maintenance on equipment and determine when/what type of maintenance needed.
• Troubleshooting - Determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it.

• Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.
• Installing equipment, machines, wiring, or programs to meet specifications

EXPERIENCE:

• 3 years practical work experience in Maintenance
• Practical work experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
• Experience in mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, equipment repair, installation.
