The position is open to all applicants that meet the minimum qualifications below.
The Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) is seeking highly qualified applicants for their full-time Employer and Communications Coordinator position in the Office of Workforce Development, Major Projects. This position is located in the Savannah area, with dual duty stations, including part-time at an employer’s site.
RESPONSIBILITIES
·Act as a liaison between the employer and the customized recruitment team.
·Assist in coordinating and facilitating hiring events both virtual and in-person.
·Work closely with employers to assess needs related to hiring concerns.
·Develop and implement marketing strategies to assist with large-scale hiring events.
·Address the scheduling and logistics of interviews for employers.
·Assists in performance reporting through documentation of activities and services through appropriate data management systems.
·Utilizes Labor Exchange System and other recruitment/case management resources to support employer needs and facilitate job-seeker referrals.
·Non-traditional hours are common and include extensive travel within the assigned region/territory.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
·Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university OR Associate's degree from an accredited college AND Two years of related experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
·Bachelor’s degree in public relations, business, marketing, or government/public service.
·Knowledge of the Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act (WIOA) and related Wagner-Peyser (WP) Act.
·Experience with delivery of Employment Services.
·Experience delivering presentations in groups.
·Marketing, communications, or cold-calling experience.
·Demonstrated experience organizing, presenting, and disseminating client-requested information or data.
·Experience or training using all Microsoft application software.
·Experience presenting information and factual data to individuals or groups.
