Atlanta Technical College (ATC) is seeking highly qualified applicants for their EHS Part-time Teacher position, in the Student and Academic Affairs division. This position is located at ATC's (Main Campus), which is just south of Downtown Atlanta/Hartsfield-Jackson Airport.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Plan and implement the Creative Curriculum in accordance with the polices and philosophy of Department of Early Care and Learning.
- Candidates should be able to prepare activities ahead of time so materials are in order when needed and follows through with planned activities.
- Develop and utilize daily plans which reflect mandated elements, parental and cultural influences, and promote the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of infant and toddler children.
- Follow a consistent schedule that meets individual needs.
- Including small and large group experiences, choice time, music and movement, large and small motor skills, skill development, meals, and effective transitions between activities. Encourage the children in experimentation, exploration, problem solving, cooperation, socialization, and choice making.
- Nurture and support each child's social and emotional development.
- Provide written and verbal communication to parents on a daily basis.
Minimum Qualifications Technical Diploma in Early Childhood Education
Must be from a regionally accredited private or public post-secondary institution, experience with infants and toddlers.
Preferred Qualifications Associate in Early Childhood Education. Must be from
a regionally accredited private or public post-secondary institution.
