Job Overview:
As a Contract Delivery Driver at George's Flowers, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive their floral arrangements promptly and in perfect condition. You will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering flowers to our customers' homes, businesses, and event venues.
- Delivery and Transportation: Safely transport floral arrangements, bouquets, and plants to designated delivery locations in a timely manner while ensuring the freshness and quality of the products.
- Technology Proficient: Know how to use a internal routing software and app to check in and check out deliveries.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers upon delivery, offering assistance, and answering basic inquiries about our products and services.
Qualifications:
- Minimum age required for insurance purposes is 25 years old.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record - must provide proof from the DMV.
- Must use your own vehicle.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Friendly and courteous demeanor.
- Ability to handle delicate and fragile items with care.
- Knowledge of local roads and routes.
- Previous delivery or customer service experience is a plus.
Additional Information:
- Compensated per stop.
- Must fill out a 1099.
- Must complete a prior evening training session.
- This position may require lifting and carrying floral arrangements of various sizes.
