Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with the dentist and dental hygienist to provide quality dental care to our patients. Your main responsibilities will include assisting with dental procedures, maintaining patient records, and ensuring infection control protocols are followed.

Duties:
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations and procedures
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures by handing them instruments and materials
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Prepare materials for impressions and restorations
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using Dentrix
- Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment
- Perform basic dental laboratory tasks such as pouring models and fabricating temporary crowns
- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing patient flow

Experience:
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant required
- Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and procedures
- Familiarity with medical coding for dental procedures is a plus
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems such Dentrix
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
