This individual is a Telecommunications Professional who oversees and coordinates the workflow between Planning, Engineering, Permitting and Drafting functions. Provides progress reports and schedules to Client and Senior Management. Issues work assignments and monitors quality of work performed. Is responsible for issue resolution.

Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Requires min 6 years Telecommunications fiber design experience.
• Min 4 years of Engineering Management/Supervision experience.
• Min 4 years working in AutoCAD/GIS and other engineering related software.
• Ability to communicate clearly and directly in English and Spanish (read, write and speak).
• A deep understanding of outside plant fiber optic network infrastructure, engineering design and of xPON projects.
• An understanding of the construction side of outside plant fiber optic network infrastructure.
• Knowledge/experience with Project Management tools.
• Must demonstrate the ability to work independently and prioritize multiple objectives in a rapidly changing environment.
• Ability to host productive meetings and present information to both small and large groups.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical and communication skills. Flexible and able to think quickly.
• Min travel requirements (<10%).

Responsibilities:

• Acts as single point of contact (SPOC) for our clients/customers for all technical clarifications, discrepancies, and escalations.
• Conduct all business activities in a manner consistent with company corporate values and Code of Conduct with proper handling of confidential company and customer information.
• Responsible for the workflow process. Evaluate and enforce set workflow standards.
• Monitoring projects daily, evaluating progress/quality.
• Accountable for scope, cost/budget, and schedule/milestones for all assigned projects.
• Engage with client and utilize sound judgment in appropriate engineering techniques to meet/exceed client expectations in both Quality and timeliness.
• Escalates internal/external issues/concerns/risks promptly to Senior Management to ensure matters are addressed promptly as to not impact schedule/timelines.
• Manages and monitors all engineering activities performed by vendors.
