Genuine Cable Group is currently seeking a few Part-Time Warehouse Associates for our Warehouse facility in Schaumburg, IL. If you have a keen eye for detail, strong work ethic, and the desire to learn and grow with a rapidly expanding company, this position is a fantastic way to get your foot in the door with a leading distributor of industrial automation and connectivity solutions.

In this role, you would be responsible for organizing, retrieving, and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders, and packing and shipping out inventory. We believe everyone deserves a chance; we welcome warehouse experience but are happy to train motivated individuals looking to enter this field or learn a new skill.

We recognize that providing excellent service to our customers begins with our warehouse teams; we pride ourselves on providing a safe, clean environment and a stable schedule. Hours for this position are flexible, we are offering two shifts: 8:00am-12:00pm M-F and 1:00pm-5:00pm M-F. We offer a starting pay rate of $19-20/hr based on experience, with opportunities for advancement based on performance.

What you’ll do

• Operate machinery to cut/spool material
• Prepare documents such as work orders, bills of lading, and shipping orders
• Organize, retrieve, and process incoming stock
• Deliver materials to other departments using hand truck, conveyor, or sorting bins
• Pick and pack orders, schedule shipments, and make sure orders are shipped effectively
• Perform additional duties as needed

What you’ll bring

• High school diploma/GED required
• Forklift/warehouse experience a plus
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
