Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. If you have a passion for dentistry and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
- Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
- Sterilize instruments according to regulations
- Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
- Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
- Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
- Schedule appointments
- Take dental X-rays
- Perform digital intraoral scans
- Perform various office tasks as necessary
- Collaborate with practice team to ensure the best patient experience
Qualifications:
- Prior training/schooling as a dental assistant
- Meet state requirements for DA duties, continuing education, or licensure
- Punctual and reliable
- Good listener, communication skills with patients
- Good computer skills
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail
