Girling Personal Care, a division of Gentiva,one of the oldest and largest providers of in-home care services in Texas, is currently seeking Caregivers and Personal Care Attendants for our clients in your area.

As a Caregiver/PCA, you will be eligible for:

As a Caregiver/ PCA you will:

• Care and dependably assist elderly and/or disabled clients in their homes or places of residence

• Assist with client needs

• Perform the day-to-day activities of care

• Provide care based on patient’s individualized care plans which can include:

• Preparing of meals

• Assisting with grocery and personal shopping

• Assisting with personal care

• Running errands

• Performing light housekeeping

About You

Caregiver/PCA Requirements:

• Compassionate, kind and empathetic to your clients and their family

• At least 18 years of age

• Previous experience as a caregiver, Personal Care Assistant, Personal Care Attendant, Resident Assistant, Direct Support Professional, Home Health Aide (HHA), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) experience is a nice to have especially if it is in home care

• If you currently work in retail, customer service or hold an entry level position and are interested in a healthcare career, please reach out

• If you are retired, a college student or looking for a part time position, we are interested in talking to you

• Physically able to perform personal care tasks

• Ability to read, write, understand, carry out directions

• Keep simple medical records and function with minimal supervision

• Must have reliable transportation

• Must not have a criminal conviction which bars employment

• Must not have an adverse record nor be listed on the Nurse Aide Registry or Employee Misconduct Registry or exclusion list

• Must meet any state requirements related to work experienceor training
