Your Role

As a Gensler Project Manager for the in our dynamic , you will leverage your attention to detail and interpersonal skills to deliver exceptional client projects on time and on budget. Grow your project management experience while working on trendsetting projects. A focus for the role will be building client relationships and driving business opportunities.

What You Will Do

• Implementing one or more projects through the management of project teams
• Managing all phases of projects, including project set-up, programming, design, and construction administration
• Establishing and maintaining ongoing, productive client relationships
• Managing project scheduling, staffing/productivity, budgets, project set-up with clients, sub-contractors, vendors and consultants
• Tracking the financial performance of projects
• Preparing project proposal, negotiating fees and contracts for projects
• Coordinating bidding process
• Ensure projects conform to contract
• Creating and communicating clear and attainable project objectives and project requirements
• And any other related responsibility as assigned

Your Qualifications

• 10 years of related experience, including demonstrated success as a Project Manager on various project types for mission based clients (cultural spaces, museums, etc.)
• Professional degree (Masters or Bachelor) in Architecture from an accredited program; Licensure is strongly preferred.
• Strong leadership, organization, communication and relationship management skills
• Ability to maintain existing client relationships and build new client relationships and develop a network
• Ability to handle difficult situations with tact, grace and style
• Experience leading, managing and mentoring multiple project teams for cultural projects
• Experience with recruiting, mentoring and coaching talent. Highly organized and responsive
• Strong abilities in managing fees, schedules and staffing
• Extensive knowledge of design principles/practices, technical regulations, building code, standards and building structures
• Strong client communication skills
• Computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel and AutoCAD are required; Revit, Spexx, and Adobe Suite are a bonus.
