GENPAK is Hiring a Corporate Recruiter Near Charlotte, NC

This position will work a Hybrid schedule

Responsible for delivering all facets of recruiting success throughout the organization, to include screening/interviewing and recommending applicants for clerical, technical, administrative and leadership positions. Considerable skill in interviewing techniques, advanced knowledge of proactive recruiting techniques and sources, and an understanding of the Company's organizational structure are required. The position also requires extensive knowledge of personnel policy/procedure and federal/state laws regarding employment practices.

Develops and executes staffing strategies for a variety of levels from temporary staffing to executive placement; develops, streamlines and enhances staffing systems, tracking reporting, and analysis; leads sourcing and recruiting initiatives and processes to leverage networking and employee referrals; manages college relations and oversees various sourcing and internship programs; manages relocation, immigration and other responsibilities related to staffing administration; ensures compliance with all state and federal discrimination and employment regulations.

KEY JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Develops specific recruiting plans based on meeting with hiring managers.
  • Stays abreast on cutting edge recruitment methodologies.
  • Communicates regularly with leaders/managers and employees regularly to establish a rapport and source new leads.
  • Maintains regular contact with possible future candidates to establish and maintain viable candidate pipelines.
  • Provides information on company operations and job opportunities to potential applicants; Screens and refers qualified applicants to hiring manager for interviewing; Provides initial screening for manager to obtain work history, education, training, job skills, and salary requirements.
  • Responsible for coordinating the entire interview process; secures travel and lodging for applicants; coordinates reference and background checks and related expenses.
  • Corresponds with applicants to notify them of opportunities and keeps them updated throughout the contingency process.
  • Maintains records on staffing activities via the ADP applicant tracking system.
  • Develops and maintains professional relationships with colleges, universities, community organizations and professional associations as a source to generate qualified applicants.
  • Schedules and attends job/career fairs with appropriate staff as a source to generate qualified applicants.
  • Responsible for maintaining accurate headcount for temporary workers; coordinates and tracks the use of external recruiters.
  • Ensures proper billing of background check/employment verification vendors.
  • Responsible for direct participation in On-Boarding Administration and New Hire Orientation.
  • Responsible for coordination and submission of immigration and relocation matters.
  • Provides requisition status updates as requested.
  • Collaborates and supports the company on the achievement of AA goals.
  • Performs other duties as may be assigned.
Requirements:

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Organizational Development, Marketing, Business Administration is preferred
  • An understanding of human resources principles and practices.
  • 2 - 4 years of recruiting/staffing.
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
  • Tact, diplomacy and the ability to enlist the support of others are essential. Proven ability to work with all levels of employees required.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Outstanding time management skills and the ability to work in a very fast paced environment.
  • Must have strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Proven PC skills and experience using various software packages are required, i.e. Microsoft Office - Outlook, Word, Excel. Experienced in developing spread sheets and Human Resource metrics is strongly preferred.
