Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical team. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in a medical/surgical setting. This is a full-time position with opportunities for career growth and advancement.
Duties:
- Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' health status
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor and document patients' vital signs and symptoms
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Assist with procedures such as CT scans, gastric lavage, and sterile processing
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health record systems (e.g., Cerner)
- Adhere to all HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care across various departments (e.g., laboratory, behavioral health)
- Respond effectively to emergencies and provide appropriate interventions

Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of ME or compact
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred, but not required
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in medical/surgical nursing or related field
