Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and document patient vital signs, symptoms, and progress
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to coordinate patient care
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment plans, and preventive measures
- Assist with diagnostic procedures such as sonography and tube feeding
- Conduct IV insertion and manage IV therapy
- Adhere to hospital standards, policies, and procedures for infection control and safety protocols
- Provide skilled nursing care in home care settings
- Provide specialized care for pediatric patients, including toddler care
- Utilize case management skills to coordinate patient care across different healthcare systems

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Proficient in performing sonography procedures
- Experience with tube feeding techniques
- Familiarity with hospital standards and protocols for infection control and safety
- Competent in IV insertion and management of IV therapy
- Ability to provide skilled nursing care in home care settings
- Experience in pediatric nursing, including toddler care
- Excellent organizational skills for effective case management

Genie Healthcare is currently seeking a RN to fill an opening located in Battle Creek, MI for $56/hr (taxed non-taxed)

• Shift-12hr nights
• 13 weeks
• 36 hrs wk= $2016 gross/wk
• Weekly Taxable =$864 $24hrly
• Weekly travel stipend: $1152 weekly
