Genie Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced CNA( Certified Nursing Assistant) to fill an opening located in Burlington,VT for $25.25 Hourly Blended

• 14 weeks
• 8 hours, 6AM-2:30PM
• 36 hrs wk= $1010 gross/wk

Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Nursing Assistant, you will provide essential support to nurses and other medical staff in delivering quality patient care. Duties:
- Assist nurses with various tasks, including medical documentation, taking vital signs, and updating patient charts
- Help patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating
- Lift and transfer patients safely using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
- Monitor and report changes in patients' conditions to the nursing staff
- Provide basic medical care, such as catheter care and phlebotomy
- Assist with patient mobility and ambulation
- Support patients with dementia or cognitive impairments by providing appropriate care and ensuring their safety
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to create a comfortable and healing environment for patients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient rooms and common areas

Requirements:
- 2 year experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant
- Vermont state CNA license
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays

Note: All positions must be paid, including internship positions.
