DETAILS:

• Location: Pikeville, KY
• Position: Registered Nurse orthopedic
• Length: 13 week contract
• Shift: 12-hour shifts x 4 nights
• Start: ASAP
• Guaranteed: 48 hours/week

PAY BREAKDOWN:*

• Hourly Gross: $58 per hour
• Weekly Gross: $2784/week (With Weekly Stipend Included)

REQUIREMENTS

• Associate’s degree in nursing required. Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
• RN license required. CPR required
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS EKG required
• 2 years experience required, 5 years preferred.
• Responsibilities: Assesses/reassesses young adult, adult, and elderly patients and applies the nursing process to:
• Demonstrates basic competency in specialized procedures/equipment
• Pre and Post-Operative Care, i.e., general, bariatric, orthopedic, trauma, neurosurgical, genitourinary, etc.
• pain Management
• chest Tube Care/Insertion
• PEG, G-tube, J-tube care
• Traction
• Percutaneous, Sump, Jackson Pratt, or Hemovac drainage care
• Medication Administration
• NIH Stroke Scale
• KODA
• Access Central Lines
• Specialized IV Drips and Titration
• IV Therapy
• IVADD
• Waive Testing
• Transfusion Therapy
• Information Management
