RN - Long Term Care (Nights) Sault St. Marie, MI $2440/wk

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct patient care, administer medications, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care for our patients.

Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and medical history
- Assist with specimen collection processing and ensure accurate documentation
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement discharge planning strategies
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding their healthcare needs
- Utilize electronic medical record systems, such as eClinicalWorks, to maintain accurate patient records
- Adhere to aseptic technique and infection control protocols
- Assist with botulinum toxin treatment procedures as needed

Requirements:
- Valid Registered Nurse license in MI
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred, but Associate's degree accepted
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-9 coding, and healthcare systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
