Genesis10 is currently seeking an Agile Scrum Master with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12 month contract position.

Responsibilities
- Guide and coach one or more teams on Scrum practices, and develop understanding of Agile principles
- Promote/facilitate communication and collaboration within the Agile team to support value delivery and Sprint commitments
- Assist with Agile related routines (including but not limited to Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives) and support the active management and disposition of decisions, issues and risks
- Leverage core tools, including SharePoint, JIRA, etc.
- Understand and make connections throughout the Enterprise Credit Risk technology process to ensure roadblocks and impediments are removed
- Measure team delivery, maturity, and performance and review the metrics with the team to identify improvement opportunities
- Represent the application development team in various Agile, governance and status related forums
- Support application development teams with Enterprise Change methodology, processes, deliverables, etc.
- Strong relationship, verbal and written communication, teambuilding, facilitation and influencing skills
- Agile Scrum/Kanban knowledge and experience advanced proficiency
- Expertise in traditional SDLC methods and change management standards
- Analytical experience - ability to interpret business requirements into technical solutions, issue resolution, risk mitigation and avoidance
- Skilled experience with Agile lifecycle management tools (JIRA)
- Microsoft Office, Intermediate Word, Intermediate Excel
- Self-starter, motivated, innovative, able to adapt to priority changes and work hours
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals
- Demonstrated problem solving abilities
- Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
- The ability to perform in a dynamic and "process-improving” environment
- Resolving and influencing the positive outcome of conflicting objectives and priorities
- Strong, proactive leadership capabilities - inspiring fellowship
- Ability to stimulate and participate in creative thinking for out-of-the-box solutions
