Genesis10 is currently seeking a Engineering - Engineer - Mechanical (Senior Level) working a contract through December 2024 with our client nsite in the healthcare industry in their Marlborough, MA location. Occasional travel to Shrewsbury, MA is required.

Job Description:
The Mechanical Engineer will support R&D for product development of bioprocessing equipment.

• This role requires a technical aptitude and understanding of P&ID's, vessels, piping systems, instrumentation, controls, and heating/cooling.
• Ability to assemble, operate, and troubleshoot mechanical systems safely in a manufacturing environment.
• Experienced with ERP systems to create BOM's and execute ECO's.
• Create purchase specifications for equipment with an understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in the bioprocessing equipment industry.
• Create and execute test protocols and reports -Direct experience with heating and cooling equipment desired.
• Hands-on experience desired.
• The current project phase of this new product development is close to design freeze so we will be going into engineering test verifications, product release to production, and product launch.

Qualifications:

• Willingness and capacity to learn and hands-on operation of equipment.
• This position will need to understand capital equipment (temperature control unit), sensors, and pumps.
