Genesis10 is currently seeking a Network/System Engineer with our client in the financial industry located in Chicago, IL, Kennesaw, GA, and Chandler, AZ. This is a 12 month contract position.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure that our Internal Cloud Transformation efforts (requirements engineering, solution design, architecture, product delivery, product management, and engineering governance) remain aligned to our primary goal to modernize and optimize our internal cloud infrastructure
- Enhance operational efficiency
- Reduce manual interventions
- Ensure seamless integration of automation across the various IT functions that comprise our Internal Cloud Platform
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements for the cloud software platform transformation
- Define clear and measurable goals and objectives for the transformation initiative
- Work with stakeholders to design and develop modern and scalable cloud software architecture
- Ensure that the solution architecture aligns with industry best practices, security standards, and business needs
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to inform architectural decisions Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable and resilient software architectures
- Work closely with product managers to define and prioritize features for the transformed cloud software platform
- Drive the development of a comprehensive product roadmap
- Oversee the end-to-end product delivery process, ensuring timely and successful implementation of cloud software enhancements
- Collaborate with engineering teams to achieve high-quality and reliable product releases
- Lead the development and implementation of innovative solutions for cloud-based software environment
- Establish and enforce engineering governance processes for the cloud software platform
- Conduct regular reviews to ensure compliance with security, performance, and operational standards
- Provide strategic leadership for the cloud software platform transformation initiative
- Provide technical guidance to ensure the successful execution of transformation projects
- Inspire and guide cross-functional teams towards achieving transformation goals
- Drive cloud software platform transformation initiatives, optimizing existing systems and integrating new technologies
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, including IT leadership, business units, and technology partners, to align the cloud software platform with organizational objectives
- Communicate progress, challenges, and solutions effectively
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in processes, tools, and methodologies related to cloud software platform development and operations
- Foster a culture of innovation and adaptability
- Requirements:
- Strong technical background and a proven track record of successfully driving cloud transformation within enterprise environments
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in cloud platform transformation, including requirements engineering, solution design, architecture, product management, product delivery, and engineering governance
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), virtualization technologies and related services and trends
- Proven leadership experience in large-scale technology transformations
- Ability to lead and collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills
- Experience with full-stack development and engineering
- Proficient in software design principles and patterns
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Experience working with Agile development processes
