Genesis10 is seeking a Corporate Communications - Senior Content Manager for a 12 month contract position with a mortgage loan corporation located in McLean, VA. This is a hybrid position and requires being onsite 3 days per week.
Summary:
We are seeking a Drupal CMS Editor to join our team of editors responsible for creating, administration, publication, and the governance of digital content (web pages, copy, images, video, podcasts, hyperlinks, SEO metadata, and taxonomy) and provide intake support for new incoming requests. Further responsibilities include documentation, auditing and modification for regular releases and scheduled updates.

- Our team is responsible for executing web-based initiatives across several Divisions.
- Adapt and innovate based on market behaviors while efficiently improving usability, site visibility, and overall user experience.
- Working with the larger digital and creative team to bring effective, concise, and meaningful information to our clients.
- Execution of web and digital strategies, projects and in collaboration with our corporate and cross-divisional partners, managing content flow across corporate digital properties.
In this role, you will be an integral part of bring our content to life through web and digital strategies that amplify while advancing business objectives.
- Creating, administrating, and publishing digital content.
- Accurately review and ensure quality on the web properties.
- Maintain site standards based on brand guidelines and UX recommendations.
- Develop resolutions to problems that prevent effective content publishing.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and inconsistencies.
- 2-4 years of experience working in a content management system required. (Drupal, WordPress, SharePoint or Adobe)
- 2-4 years of experience working HTML and CSS required.
- 1-2 years in UX and UI experience in Web Design and prototyping preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in English, Communication, or another related field
- Digital media experience preferred in marketing and website development.
- Able to thrive in fast-paced environments.
- Attention to details.
- Strong time management skills and organizational skills.
- Positive relationship-building skills.
- Experience in digital communications, including web, digital and marketing strategies.
- Knowledge of SEO, content governance and web architecture.
- The ability to adapt to change quickly and to tackle unfamiliar tasks and requests.
- Excellent written and verbal skills.
