Due to our customer's recent expansion, we are holding open interviews on - Friday April 12th from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm at our Chesapeake, VA site located at 516 Woodlake Circle - Chesapeake, VA 23320No appointment necessary - Immediate in-person interviews and offers for qualified CDL Drivers. Ask for Chester when you arrive. The job REQUIRES a valid CDL; and at least 1 year of COMMERCIAL DRIVING EXPERIENCE with in-store deliveries a plus. See below for further details.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• As a world-class company we are looking for a Local Route Delivery Driver based in Chesapeake, VA.
• Shuttle and Delivery routes covering a 7-day operation
• 5-day work week with 2 days off together
• Earn daily pay based on route assignment
• Driving refrigerated truck and making deliveries of perishable foods to a major convenience store chain. NO SALES, STAGING, OR MERCHANDISING INVOLVED!
• Touch freight delivery, home daily
• Paid orientation & training
• Genesis pays weekly

PAY DESCRIPTION:

• $250 - $260 - Pay is based on the driver’s daily route assignment.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of 12-months verifiable commercial driving experience REQUIRED.
• Valid Class A or Class B operator's license
• Be a minimum 21 years of age
• Safe driving record
• Open availability to work all holidays and weekends
• Ability to provide outstanding customer service during your shift
• Capable of counting product, loading and unloading of your own truck using hand truck and ramp/lift gate, delivering up to 15-20 stops per shift
• In-Store delivery experience a plus
