Position Title: Summer Hire 2024Location: Green River, WYStatus: Temporary - Candidates have already been identified for this position. Estimated start: May 13, 2024Estimated end: August 31, 2024The Genesis Alkali Summer Hire Program is an exciting seasonal opportunity to gain real-world work experience in a 24/7 chemical processing and distribution enterprise. For 12-14 weeks beginning in May, a small group of summer hires will be invited to work alongside our employees in multiple departments across our site. Required Skills and Experience: At least one completed year (a minimum of 24 credits) from an accredited two-or four-year community college, college, or university, andFull-time student at an accredited two-or four-year community college, college, or university with a minimum of 12 credits for Spring 2024, andFull-time enrollment at an accredited two-or four-year community college, college, or university for Fall 2024 OR a May 2024 graduate with an associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited two- or four-year community college, college, or university, andBe in good standing with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5, andAbility to fit test for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), andDependent child, stepchild, grandchild, or step-grandchild of an active Alkali employee, retiree or deceased employeePreferred Skills and Experience:Area of study relevant to our operations, including but not limited to mechanic, electrician, and engineering.
