We are a largely remote but impactful team working across Europe and North America. Particularly in the times we live in, we believe that flexibility is important in any role. For this role we are currently looking for someone based in the US in one of the following states: Florida, Georgia, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, Oregon, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia and Washington.

Overview:

Under the direction of the VP of Operations, the Operations Project Manager provides oversight to all Operations projects. This includes planning, organizing staff and stakeholders, implementation and project control. The Operations Project Manager uses project methodologies (Agile, scrum, six sigma etc) to lead projects as needed for cross functional teams, Operations, HR, IT, Marketing, Development and Finance. 

General Responsibilities:

• Manage and implement company wide projects within an agile framework 
• Combine project management practices with agile development requirements to meet goals and objectives.
• Define project scope and schedule while focusing on regular and timely delivery of value
• Create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project.
• Organize and lead project status and working meetings
• Prepare and distribute progress reports
• Manage risks and issues, correct deviations from plans and perform delivery planning for assigned projects
• Assist in team development while holding teams accountable for their commitments, removing roadblocks to their work and mentoring and developing team members
• Leverage organizational resources to improve capacity for project work
• Support customer expectations for project deliverables, managing stakeholder communications, and helping to implement an effective system of project governance
• Oversee team of junior or mid-level project managers
• Oversee and implement multiple projects at once
•  Facilitates stakeholders staff meetings, takes minutes, and summarize

deliverables to ensure stakeholders are organized and remain on task for the duration of the project.

• Ensure that all project personnel receive an appropriate orientation to the project.
• Solicit qualified consultants to work on the project as appropriate and present candidates to senior management.
• Implement the project and execute the project according to the project plan.
• Set up files to ensure that all project information is appropriately documented

and secured.

• Monitor the progress of the project and make adjustments as necessary to

ensure the successful completion of the project.

• Review the quality of the work completed with the project team on a regular basis to ensure that it meets the project standards.
• In consultation with the VP of Operations, recruit all necessary staff and stakeholders with appropriate skills necessary to carry out all project activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree 
• Masters degree a plus
• PMP certification a plus 
• At least 10 years of industry and supervisory experience
• Leadership qualities, such as motivation techniques and conflict-management
• Experience working fully remotely 
• Time management skills, especially familiarity with calendar management and goal setting
• Familiarity with the work being done by each team member
• Knowledge of project management processes, such as Scrum, Agile, SIx Sigma, Waterfall etc
