GenesisConsulting has an upcoming opportunity for an experienced, forward thinkingsenior level Quality Control and Assurance Manager & Testing Lead with apassion for growth and business transformation. We are seeking an experiencedand detail-oriented Senior Quality Assurance/Quality Control Manager andTesting Lead with Federal ERP Experience to join our team, working closely witha Federal Government Client. As the Senior QA/QC Manager and Testing Lead, youwill be responsible for overseeing the quality assurance and control processes,as well as leading the testing efforts for ERP implementations within thefederal government sector. This critical role requires a deep understanding of ERPtechnologies, strong leadership skills, and the ability to ensure compliancewith federal regulations and quality standards.

 

Duties andResponsibilities:

  • Develop and implement qualityassurance and control strategies, policies, and processes to ensure thedelivery of high-quality ERP solutions that align with federal governmentrequirements and industry best practices.
  • Plan for User Acceptance andSystem Integration Tests, Create Test Data, and Perform Test Executions
  • Demonstrate a strongunderstanding of federal government regulations, compliance standards, andreporting requirements related to ERP implementations. Ensure that qualityprocesses and deliverables adhere to these requirements.
  • Create comprehensive teststrategies, plans, and test cases for ERP implementations, encompassingfunctional, integration, system, and performance testing. Define testingmethodologies and approaches to ensure thorough test coverage.
  • Lead testers and qualityassurance professionals, providing guidance, training, and mentorship.Coordinate testing activities, assign responsibilities, and ensure timely andaccurate execution of test plans.
  • Oversee the execution of testcases, monitoring test progress, and identifying and managing defects.Collaborate with development teams to resolve issues and ensure the delivery ofdefect-free ERP solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for testautomation and implement appropriate tools and frameworks to streamline testingprocesses, increase efficiency, and enhance test coverage. Leverage automationfor regression testing and repetitive tasks.
  • Coordinate the setup andmaintenance of test environments, ensuring they accurately mirror theproduction environment. Collaborate with infrastructure and systemadministration teams to address any environment-related issues.
  • Consistently provide highquality analysis of assigned work items, ensure deliverables are of the highestquality and completed on time, and motivate team by helping to create positivework environment.
  • Ensure that testing processesand deliverables comply with federal government regulations and qualitystandards, such as the Federal Information Security Modernization Act (FISMA)and System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies. Prepare and presenttesting reports and metrics to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with theFederal Government Client's business users, project managers, and stakeholdersto understand their requirements, communicate testing progress, manageexpectations, and address any concerns or issues.
  • Stay abreast of the latest ERPtechnologies, testing methodologies, and quality assurance practices. Identifyopportunities for process improvement, innovation, and automation to enhancethe efficiency and effectiveness of testing processes.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications/Experience:

  • Extensive experience (8 years)as a Quality Assurance/Quality Control Manager or Testing Lead in ERPimplementations, specifically within the Federal Government space at a FederalCustomer, DOD or DHS experience is preferred.
  • Experience Testing in support ofat least 3 full lifecycle implementations and/or major releases to includeexperience with automated test tool implementation and day-to-day execution.
  • Deep knowledge of ERPtechnologies, including travel and expense solutions
  • Strong understanding of federalgovernment regulations, compliance standards, and reporting requirementsrelated to ERP implementations, such as FISMA, SDLC, and testing frameworks(e.g., NIST SP 800-53).
  • Proven experience in leadingtesting efforts, including test strategy development, test planning, testexecution, defect management, and test automation.
  • Strong leadership and teammanagement skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team of testers andquality assurance professionals.
  • Excellent analytical,problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication andstakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively withdiverse stakeholders, including senior leadership and government officials.

Minimum Education:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science,Information Technology, or a related field.

Required Certifications:

  • SAFe, CSM certifications desired

Other:

  • Must be US Citizen
  • Must have Secret clearance orAbility to Obtain it
  • Willingness to be on-site andremote within the DC/MD/VA area
