Genesis Consulting is leading an advancedfinancial management transformation at one of the largest federal civilianagencies that implement programs designed to mitigate the significant risks offarming through crop insurance, conservation programs, farm safety netprograms, lending, and disaster programs. The program encompasses integratingdozens of mission critical financial applications to a modern SAP application operatingin a FedRamp Certified cloud, while reengineering business process, with theproper internal controls and educating the impacted users and organizations onthe future digital platform.

Duties andResponsibilities:

Other dutiesinclude but may not be limited to:

• Provide processes and tools forthe program to ensure the legacy data being converted to SAP is complete andaccurate
• The source data to be convertedwill be determined by the customer’s needs developed as the output of BusinessProcess Re-engineering and industry best practices
• Define the source to targetmappings and determine the level of detail needed for transactions to satisfythe audit and DATA Act requirements
• Identify the conversion relevantdata in the source systems. In instances where all the required detail leveldata is not available in a single source system, derive the rules for sourcingand validating the required detail data from secondary related subsidiary orfeeder systems
• Elicit and document therequirements for historical data for cleansing and conversion
• Provide the project teaminformation and metrics pertaining to the quality of the source data fordecision making (Size the volume and quality of data for each program or groupof programs, as appropriate)
• Provide a data governanceprocess
• Refine the data quality througha data governance review process
• Work together as an integratedteam with to create a seamless experience for the customer and employee
• Design, build, and test all codeand processes required for conversion
• Provide best practices,guidance, and support for data cleansing in preparation for a successful conversion
• Provide best practices andsupport for data quality assurance during conversion development
• Develop and implement dataconversion plan in accordance with agency approved Data Governance Plan
• Develop data profiling,cleansing, reconciliation and ETL processes to cleanse and convert financialdata
• Provide effective and efficientmanagement of scope, schedule, and cost for Data Management support
• Demonstrate system capability tohandle high volume data conversion with minimum downtime

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications/Experience:

• 3-5 Years of SAP Data Conversion Experience
• 3-5 years of SAP Federal Financial implementation experience
• Experience creating Functionaland Technical Specification of Validation Rules - Describing the functional andtechnical specification of Business validation rules listed per data object.
• Experience creatingdata profiling report with validation rules - Validation rules will be run toperform specific tests on the data. These tests may validate business rules,target system rules, format of data, or ensure that the data exists in areference table. The profiling report will provide details on the outcome ofrunning the validation rules
• Experience with datacleansing and creating SAP data validation and ETL programs
• Experience leading andparticipating in multiple SAP Mock conversion tests
• Experience withconverting data from SQL, Informix, DB2, IDMS COBOL and SAP CRM
• Experience with ETLtools - SAP Business Objects Data Services, IBM InfoSphere DataStage,SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
