SAP ConcurSolution Engineer

TheSAP Concur Solution Engineer is a pivotal role within our sales team, dedicatedto showcasing the value and capabilities of SAP Concur solutions to prospectiveclients. This role demands a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, andcommunication skills to ensure that the solutions proposed and delivered areefficient, scalable, and aligned with the client’s business objectives and complexbusiness requirements.

TheSolution Engineer will work closely with sales representatives, product teams,and customers, acting as the technical expert in the sales process, as well asa solution architect to ensure that solutions are designed and implemented withbest practices and innovation in mind.

KeyResponsibilities:

SolutionDemonstration: Conductdetailed demonstrations of SAP Concur products to potential customers,highlighting features and benefits relevant to their specific business needs.Customize presentations to address the technical, functional, and businessrequirements of the customer.

SolutionDesign: Architectcomprehensive, scalable, and robust solutions using SAP Concur products andservices for clients. Ensure solutions are aligned with client business goalsand SAP Concur’s product capabilities.

TechnicalExpertise:Serve as the technical liaison between salesteams and clients. Provide comprehensive answers to technical questions,troubleshoot potential issues, and offer insights into best practices forimplementing SAP Concur solutions.

CustomerNeeds Analysis:Work closely with customers to understandtheir business processes, pain points, and objectives. Use this information totailor demonstrations and propose solutions that align with their goals.

Collaborationwith Sales Teams:Partner with sales representatives toidentify opportunities, develop strategies for client engagement, and assist inclosing deals by providing technical and product expertise.

SolutionDesign: Architectcomprehensive, scalable, and robust solutions using SAP Concur products andservices. Ensure solutions are aligned with client business goals and SAPConcur’s product capabilities.

StakeholderEngagement: Workclosely with clients to understand their business processes, challenges, andrequirements. Act as a trusted advisor, guiding clients towards optimalsolutions that deliver measurable business value.

TechnicalLeadership: Lead thetechnical aspects of project delivery, from the initial proposal through toimplementation and support. Ensure that solutions adhere to best practices andmeet project timelines and budgets.

FeedbackLoop: Relay customerfeedback and insights to product management and development teams to help guideproduct enhancements and new feature development.

ThoughtLeadership:Keep up to date with SAP Concur productupdates, competitor offerings, and industry trends to ensure effectivepositioning of SAP Concur solutions.

Requirements

ExperienceRequirements:

·Education:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, BusinessAdministration, or a related field.

·RelevantExperience:Minimum of 5 years ofexperience in a solution engineering, technical sales, or consulting role,preferably with a focus on SaaS products. Prior experience with SAP Concursolutions is required.

·TechnicalProficiency: Configuration and implementation of SAP Concur solutions isrequired. In-depth understanding of Request, Invoice and Expense ispreferred.Knowledge of Travel is aplus.Strong understanding of SaaStechnologies, APIs, and integration strategies. Familiarity with enterpriseresource planning (ERP), customer relationship management (CRM), and financialsystems.

·CommunicationSkills:Exceptional presentation andcommunication abilities, with the skill to convey complex technical concepts ina clear and engaging manner to a non-technical audience.

·Problem-Solving:Demonstrated ability to analyze businessprocesses and problems, propose effective solutions, and overcome objectionswith persuasive reasoning.

·Collaboration:Proven track record of working effectivelywith cross-functional teams, including sales, product management, and technicalsupport.

·Travel:Willingness to travel as needed to supportsales initiatives and client engagements and engage with customers directly.
